Please note that obtaining a visa is the responsibility of individual travellers.

VISA For NEPAL

All foreign nationals (except Indians) require a visa to enter Nepal.

You may prefer to apply for your visa prior to arrival in Nepal (this is an easy process and there are consulates in many countries), however you can obtain a visa on arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Getting visa at the airport may need a long wait (1 hour or so) in peak seasons. You will need to provide two passport photos and the fees in USD, Euro, GBP, JPY or AUD, in cash only and to the exact amount. Obtaining  visa at Kathmandu airport costs less than in consulate offices in Australia.

Below is the visa fee charged by Consulate office of Nepal in Melbourne.
