The Everest Skydive is not for the faint-hearted! Dropping from an AS350 B3 helicopter at a height of 29,500ft over Mt. Everest, Everest Skydiving will quite possible be the most exhilarating rush you will experience in a lifetime. There are two landing sites used; Syangboche Airport (12,340ft) & Ama Dablem Base Camp (15,000ft). Everest Skydiving has been ranked by CNN News Channel at No.8 out of 50 best adventure events organised worldwide under the heading, “Try before you die” events.

 

First started in 2008, the event runs annually during October. It is gaining popularity amongst thrill seekers both from Nepal and worldwide. Offering both solo and tandem jumps, enthusiasts are welcomed to experience this surreal jump. With the picturesque backdrop of Mt. Everest, participants experience the pure adrenaline rush of freefalling over the breath taking scenery of the Himalayan alpines.

 

A team of experts support and accompany you every step of the way to ensure you the best possible experience from this extreme adventure. Highly skilled and experienced, the team includes; expert skydivers, mountaineers, medical doctors and highly skilled high-altitude mountain pilots.

 

The highest quality of specialised equipment and safety gear is provided for this high –altitude adventure, all tested and approved. The high altitudes require specialised, large parachute systems, all fitted with an Automatic Opening Device for greater safety. The opening altitudes for your main parachute are between 16,000ft and 18,000ft AMSL. All participants are briefed by the international crew members before jumping, ensuring a full understanding of the equipment and a proper fitting.
