On this 15 day Tibet trek to Mt Kailash Kora adventure departing from Australia, we will start in Lhasa and after acclimatizing in this city while exploring its historical and spiritual significance, we will drive west across the vast plains with spectacular view of the Himalayans to the south and the Trans-Himalayans to the north. Stopping along some of Tibet’s most spiritual sites like Tashi Lhunpo, Yamdrok Lake and the Kumbum Stupa, we will develop an understanding of Buddhism’s impact on Tibet. The last few days on the trek will be full of thrill from the experience of magnificent Mt. Kailash.

Day 01 Arrival at Lhasa [3,658m] (B)=breakfast Upon arrival at Lhasa airport or train station, to be met and transferred to your hotel / hostel in Lhasa. Afternoon have a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 02 Lhasa City sightseeing, visit Potola Palace & Jokhang Temple (B)
Day 03 Lhasa City sightseeing, visit Drepung monastery, Sera monastery (B)
Day 04 Lhasa/ Yamdrok lake (4,300m) / Gyantse (3,900m) / Shigatse (3,800m) (360KM, 7hour drive) (B)
Day 05 Shigatse (3,800m) / Sakya / Lhatse (200KM, 5hrs) (B)
Day 06 Lhatse / Saga (4,500m) (300KM, 7hrs)
Day 07 Saga(4600m) / Paryang(4750m) / Lake Manasarovar - Chiu Monastery(4560m) (505Km, 7-8hours)
Day 08 Lake Manasarovar(4,558m) / Darchen (4,600m) (60KM, 1.5hours)
Day 09 Trek from Darchen to Dira-puk Monastery, (20km, 6hrs trekking)
Day 10 Trek from Dira-puk Monastery to Dzutul-puk Monastery by crossing Drolma-la Pass, (15KM, 6-7hrs trekking)
Day 11 Trek back to Darchen (14Km, 4-5hrs trekking). The winding gradually comes out of the valley and follow the river you will arrive at the Barka plain, the trekking stops at Trangser Trangmar and your car will take you back to Darchen. Overnight at Darchen (Guest house, dorm bed).
Day 12 Darchen / Paryang / Saga (520KM, 9hrs) Today drive back to Saga retracing the same route, you will have a last view of the Mt.Kailash on the way. Overnight at Saga.
Day 13 Saga / Lhatse or Shigatse (456km, 9hrs) Today start drive back to Lhatse. After such a long time drive, you will have a good rest at Lhatse. Overnight at Lhatse / Shigatse.
Day 14 Lhatse or Shigatse / Lhasa (450KM / 300KM, 8hrs / 6hrs Morning start driving back to Lhasa from Lhatse or Shigatse via northern friendship highway, driving along Yarlutsangpo river and enjoys its beautiful sceneries. Overnight at Lhasa .
Day 15 Lhasa airport /train station send-off (B) Your guide and driver will see you off at the airport or train station, end the trip.
