This all-encompassing health-oriented trek takes place in the Langtang region, the third most popular destination in Nepal and an area rich in culture and natural beauty. Walking daily over a period of 7 days in a remote and serene region largely untouched by modernization, you will be accompanied by an accomplished yoga instructor who will teach you proven physical and meditative techniques that will enhance your well-being, physically, mentally and spiritually. Meat-free, organic meals provided on the trek are designed to promote a balanced diet and detoxify the body, and are made entirely from local produce.
As part of a sustainable tourism initiative, the organizers of this trek have ensured that some of the proceeds derived from the trip are used to help fund child education programs in rural Nepal, thus allowing trekkers to contribute to the Himalayan community in a direct and highly positive way. In addition, opportunities exist on this trip for participants to become actively involved with local community life, such as by volunteering at a school site or visiting an orphanage. The precise activity will either be decided by group vote or predetermined based on seasonal factors and/or logistics available at the time of departure.
Inhabiting the Langtang Valley are friendly, welcoming communities whose Tibetan origins are reflected in a distinct style of building and way of life. The local Tamang Sherpas are descendants of the cavalry of Genghis Khan, complete with hardy mountain horses.
Upon your return from this profoundly medicinal and highly interactive trek, you will be able to relax in comfortable city accommodation and enjoy a complimentary traditional Ayurvedic massage based on an ancient Hindu technique that will further free your body and mind of all toxins.

1. Shannon Bartier -
"Just wanted to say thank you for a fabulous time we had on our trek to Everest Base Camp and Chitwan Jungle Adventure (November 2012). I bought vouchers ...and not knowing what to expect, I was blown away by the standard of accommodation we received, both in Kathmandu and Chitwan. The local guides were so friendly and helpful...I wouldn't have made Base Camp without Bimal's help! I have been raving to everyone since returning home about how fantastic our 'holiday' was. Thank you again!".
