Embark on a 17 day tour from Australia to trek to Leh, Ladakh including Markha valley, one of the most beautiful and varied regions in the world, comprised of multiple mountain ranges and a culture unchanged, with our local expert, also one of the best selling guide book author and professional photographer,
Summit of the world, Ladakh, India is truly the Himalayas’ last unspoiled region. Unlike its neighbouring regions, Ladakh has a long history of peace and prosperity. Culturally and physically, it can be considered an extension of Buddhist Tibet. Central to its beauty and one-off ambience is that it did not suffer the devastation of the Cultural Revolution. Its monasteries, temples, villages and customs remain intact, and they await – and invite – our exploration.
We will begin our thirteen-day adventure with a discovery of cultural heritage of Delhi. Then, in Leh, the capital of Ladakh, we will enjoy the finest accommodation along with a vibrant, bustling village featuring fascinating bazaars, temples and shrines. While on the trek proper, we will enjoy five-star camping with the best (new) Marmot outdoor equipment at our disposal. The trek is supported by a large group of ground staff and ponies.

Testimonials
1. Shannon Bartier -
"Just wanted to say thank you for a fabulous time we had on our trek to Everest Base Camp and Chitwan Jungle Adventure (November 2012). I bought vouchers ...and not knowing what to expect, I was blown away by the standard of accommodation we received, both in Kathmandu and Chitwan. The local guides were so friendly and helpful...I wouldn't have made Base Camp without Bimal's help! I have been raving to everyone since returning home about how fantastic our 'holiday' was. Thank you again!".
