Tamang Heritage Trail - Sustainable trekking - 10 Days

This 10 day trek  along Tamang Heritage Trail in Langtang Nepal from Australia is brought to you by Sherpa Tours Aust Pty Ltd as a well-planned tour package providing peace of mind and incomparable value in terms of quality of service at best cost. This fantastic dual package provides a special opportunity to combine an exhilarating alpine trek with an authentic hands-on experience of regional culture. This tour package offers you the unique chance to interact closely with a local Tamang family by way of a friendly homestay experience in the mountains during which you will be able to contribute to everyday life in a positive and meaningful way. Daily life for the Tamang people progresses in much the same way as it has for the last several hundred years, with farming being the main activity, and your stay will prove to be a truly absorbing experience. Sherpa Tours is one of the best travel agent and tour company in Australia for any trek and cultural tours in Nepal.

The trail will take us to the leafy, unspoiled midlands of Nepal, allowing us to experience the sheer beauty of this mountainous region as we sample the intriguing culture of the people who live there. As we proceed along the trail we will pass through traditional Tamang villages where daily routines, cultural practices and crafts have remained unchanged since settlement centuries ago. A warm traditional welcome hosted by the locals, elaborate Tamang costumes, the rich architecture of local dwellings, age-old monasteries and traditional places of prayer add colour to one’s experience of this trail.

Recommendation

Discovering the unbridled beauty of Nepal amidst the throngs of trekkers that descend on the more popular regions could be difficult. If you choose an ‘off-the-beaten-track’ destination, the scenery and cultural aspects you observe will be top-notch. Thus, selecting a less popular trek will enable you to avoid the peak-season crush and still receive spectacular views in fine weather along with indelible cultural experiences. You may be better off this way, by exploring the real Nepal – its natural beauty, friendly spirit and unspoilt culture.
